Zack Fridell is the General Manager for Vineland Greens, bringing custom synthetic golf greens to life across East Tennessee. With an eye for design and a deep love for the outdoors, Zack helps families and golf enthusiasts turn their backyards into beautiful, functional extensions of their lifestyle — places where practice meets play and memories are made.
Before stepping into the world of premium green installation, Zack’s path was shaped by a diverse background rooted in service, craftsmanship, and community. He approaches every project with a builder’s mindset and a neighbor’s heart — making sure each green is built to perform, last, and bring joy to the people who use it.
Zack is also a husband and a dad, and those titles mean the most to him. He and his wife, Dana, live in Chattanooga with their daughter. The family spent years in Boone, North Carolina before making their home in Tennessee, and their roots in the mountains still shape the way they live, work, and dream.
In every season, Zack keeps his focus simple: do work that matters, love his people well, and keep growing — in faith, in business, and in life. You’ll often find him out walking a jobsite, meeting with homeowners, or sharing life with friends around a firepit.
Zack’s work is personal — because for him, it’s never just about building a green. It’s about building trust, joy, and lasting spaces that bring people together.
Grace Heffner is the Managing Partner of Vineland Greens, a boutique golf green design company headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, with operations stretching into the Sandhills of North Carolina. Grace brings her natural leadership, refined taste, and deep care for people into every aspect of the business — from managing operations and shaping the client experience to overseeing the brand’s distinct visual identity.
What sets Grace apart isn’t just her ability to bring beauty and functionality to outdoor spaces — it’s the heart she brings to the work. Before joining Vineland Greens, Grace has spent over a decade in the medical field, serving patients and families with a rare blend of compassion, competence, and grace under pressure. That same empathy now guides how she leads teams, supports clients, and builds relationships within the communities she serves.
Splitting her time between Southern Pines and Chattanooga, Grace is grounded in family, faith, and meaningful connections. She’s married to Forth Heffner and is the proud mother of three. Whether she’s leading a project site walk-through, spending a weekend in the North Carolina Mountains with her family, or curating design elements for a new green, she brings warmth, joy, and integrity into every space she steps into.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Grace deep in a good book, creating something beautiful in the kitchen, volunteering in her community, or planning her next trip to explore somewhere with charm and history. She believes in living well, loving big, and helping others feel truly seen — values that shine through in every part of her life and work.
Forth Heffner is the founder of Vineland Greens, a specialty golf green design and installation company rooted in Chattanooga, TN. A visionary entrepreneur and strategic coach, Forth thrives at the intersection of big-picture thinking and boots-on-the-ground execution. Whether he’s walking a property with a client or mapping out a three-year growth strategy, he brings energy, creativity, and a deep sense of purpose to every project.
Forth has spent the last two decades leading, building, and advising businesses across industries — from residential construction to leadership coaching to commercial development. He’s known for his rare blend of bold ideas, practical know-how, and a relentless focus on helping others win. As a certified Pinnacle Business Guide and coach, Forth partners with high-performing leaders to scale their businesses with clarity, culture, and confidence.
But beyond the boardroom or the backyard green, Forth is someone who leads with heart. He believes business should be personal — about relationships, not just results. And that the best work happens when people are both challenged and cared for.
He and his wife, Grace, live in Southern Pines with their three children. Together, they split their time between North Carolina and Tennessee, pouring their energy into meaningful work and creating a life they love. Forth is passionate about golf, the App State Mountaineers, big ideas, and small-town communities. You’ll often find him sketching out a new business concept on a napkin, cheering on his kids from the sidelines, or hosting friends and clients for fireside conversations and bourbon.
